What is Pellevé?

Pellevé is a state-of-the-art, noninvasive, radio-frequency skin revitalization treatment. It’s an effective treatment to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Pellevé is an excellent treatment for both men and women, and it is suitable for all skin types and colors.

How does Pellevé work?

Pellevé delivers radiofrequency energy to the dermis layer of your skin, where collagen is produced and stored.

The radiofrequency energy heats your dermal layer, which triggers your body’s regenerative process, and new collagen cells start to develop. Following treatment, you will continue to grow new collagen and see the appearance of your skin improve for up to three months following your session.

Many patients see results after just one treatment. However, you may need a series of Pellevé sessions for optimal results. Your aesthetician will provide customized recommendations depending on the condition of your skin and your desired results.

What happens during a Pellevé treatment?

You will relax on a treatment bed, and your aesthetician will use the GlideSafe applicator handpiece to direct the radiofrequency energy through your skin. The treatment is comfortable and safe. You may notice a warming sensation, but most people describe the sensation as similar to a hot stone massage.

Your Pellevé treatment can take up to 90 minutes if you’re having your whole face treated, but if you’re only targeting a small part of your face, you may only need 30 minutes.

How should I take care of my skin after a Pellevé session?

Your skin may be a little flushed after treatment, but that should subside quickly. Otherwise, you should be able to return to your regular activities immediately. Your aesthetician will give you specific aftercare advice based on your skin type. You should also take care to avoid the sun for several days as the treatment can increase your skin’s sensitivity. Make sure to wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day.
